Presumably adding a surfactant (e.g. 1 drop of dishwasher rinse aid) would assist this process;
either to the wash-water or the glaze bucket.
Peter, This is an interesting thought. I recently heard, or saw,or read that spraying a model prior to pouring a plaster mold, with windex, would help reduce trapped air bubbles on the mold surface by reducing surface tension of the plaster and mold surface. Maybe this might help with pinholing problems.
Worth a try?
