SANDBLASTING CERAMIC SURFACES WITH ANDRE AND VIRGINIA BALLY, SAN ANTONIO.

First offering April 12th

Second offering April 26th 2014

Are you looking for a unique way to enrich your ceramic surface? Using
sandblasting techniques, Andre and Virginia Bally will show you how to
create beautifully embossed images and add surface depth to your glazes.
This method quickly produces complex carved imagery on bisque or can reveal
layers of surface depth to an already glazed piece.

We will cover how to make your own stencils, various stencil media, safety
procedures and the use of the equipment. This workshop is hands-on ONE DAY
WORKSHOP, so you'll leave with a sampling of tiles made with the
sandblasting process.

Space is limited to 5 people per session. Early Postmarks for reservation.
Some spaces already filled.
