[Clayart] Refiring Raku

While the first batch of pots is being fired, I put the rest of the pots in direct sun and leave them there until it’s time to fire them. Southern New Mexico in the summer, direct sun can be about 100 degrees. Even that little bit helps. I also use a clay body from New Mexico Clay that is designed for raku. 

I haven’t had any temperature shock. Yet.
