[Clayart] Diamond lapping disk question

on diamond tools, they will cut at about the same rate as a normal grit 
of 1/3. So, a 100 grit diamond disc will cut at about the same rate as a 
30 grit carborundum disc.
Used with care, a diamond tool will last forever on relatively soft 
ceramic material.
