I still have my old kick wheel and find it great for trimming pots. Much easier to control than the electric wheel. Mildred Herot

My vision of a kickwheel is a bald rear tire from a 1930's Ford flat-bed 
being kicked down the road as we ran behind it. Each kickwheel and road 
had its own rhythm; kick too hard and you could not keep up; kick not hard 
enough and you got too far ahead; kick sideways and lose control. The real 
skill was to not drop your ice cream on the way back to the house.
