Dear Clayart Friends - 

Jodie Masterman is an alumnus from the BFA program at the Craft Center and
is currently in graduate school at LSU.  As you know, the Baton Rouge area
really got hammered by the recent floods, and losses were huge.  Jodie has
helped to set up a flood relief fundraiser sale of ceramics by leading
artists, so please click the link below and go buy a pot.  There is some
wonderful stuff available for reasonable prices, and if you are like me and
have no room for any more pots, please make a monetary donation.  See the

Hi friends,

At 12pm central today a ceramics fundraiser that myself and the ceramic art
student association at Louisiana State University have organized will go
live. The funds raised will benefit those in our community directly affected
by the recent devastating flooding in Baton Rouge.

investigation of the ceramic material, its historical precedent, and its

Current LSU students and faculty, along with alumni, past visiting artists
and friends of LSU Ceramics, have generously donated work to this
fundraiser. 100% of sales will go directly to victims of this
once-in-a-hundred-year flood. 

Participating artists include: Mikey Walsh, Andy Shaw, Ayumi Horie, Jen
Allen, Kurt Anderson, Margaret Bohls, Chandra DeBuse, Kensuke Yamada,
Meredith Host, Kristen Keiffer and many more.
