Shoe goo FYI....Our local shoe repair (cobbler) and boot and saddle maker sells a "shoe goo on steroids" product that out performs Wally's shoe goo (good as it is)


Always ask the pros who are making a living.

I agree with shoe goo.It retains its flexibility used it for earrings and hair barrets for years the slight flex is useful.  Barge cements ok but shoe goo is superior.

My go-to adhesive to hold mounting brackets on the backs of any type of
glazed or unglazed ceramic is Shoe Goo.  You have to put some goo between
the ceramic and the backer, and put a little on top of the backer to seal
it in place.  I don't see why it would not hold a backing on an earring,
even in the desert.  YMMV.
