[Clayart] Bisque firing

This is a short record of my bisque firings. I have a 60's era 20cu ft. 
Alpine,gas, natural updraft. I start it overnight with the damper open 
about 1/2", pilots on., next morning it's 400 d.I go slow til I see red 
heat, then turn it up about 2", bright red - gas to 6",damper to 4", 
when it hits 1880, c/o4 bending, I shut it down to gas- 1/2" & damper 
1" for 2 hrs or so & when it's down to 1420. close everything up & next 
morning it's 340D. Mike Gordon
