a perfect explanation.  but, kilns crack, chip, and get stained and dirty.
they are not living room decor.  they are kilns.  we work the pee out of them
take care of them and love them.

they crack.  so what?  fire the damn thing.
if it gets to bad...shoot a .22 bullet into the kiln sitter.
and then take the entire thing to a re/cycle center.
get a new one.  they are tools.
