[Clayart] The Changing Ceramic Art Scene

I looked at the sculptures and wondered if they would be selected in a sculpture competition instead of a ceramic  competition.   If they can make they cut in a pure sculpture competition wouldn’t the use of clay help elevate clay in the eyes of those who appreciate “fine art”.    As was said in a previous post many of the works really don’t shout the nature of clay and the reason that clay was chosen to make to work.

There are other materials that could accomplish the same thing without the difficulties that clay presents.
