[Clayart] Bowl-glazing issues

Many years ago when I discovered the "original"  floating blue glaze (a
rutile blue), I tried a hold at cone 6,  probably about an hour. Of course
(as I  quickly learned) the glaze was overfired to a yellow green color
(puke green in texhnical terms).

I've never forgotten that. I can be grateful that no glazes ran or spit,
but it was a lesson I've never forgotten. I also learned about using
cookies <G> ie that I should use them when I try something new.
