[Clayart] Temporal arteritis

I agree with Robert on the dangers of long term prednisone. My stepmother was on it for a long time and when I moved her to Michigan and had her see my doctor they found she had one vertebrae NOT fractured. It took a year to wean her off of prednisone, but the damage was done.
