I'm so sorry you have to give up clay! Back pain is the bane of the potter.

You ought to be able to get 50% of what you paid for major pieces of 
equipment such as wheels, slab-rollers, kilns, etc. Hand tools and 
premixed glazes, maybe not. Chemicals have shot up in price lately so 
you might be able to get a very good price for them. However, of course 
you'll probably get a better price selling items individually.
