[Clayart] What is clayart?

Anyone who knows Mel, knows that he is ready and willing to answer any “important question.”  And I took his post as simply meaning, feel free and comfortable to ask that question that is important to you who is asking.  And that goes for many others who have been on Clayart for many years. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a wonderful resource.   Mel is the consummate teacher, as are many others like Vince, David Hendley, Ron, Sumi and too many talented people to list.  They share so openly.
In the past they have all answered questions so generously when I was new to the craft.  There was always respect, both ways.  And I am grateful.    Toni Smith in Ohio
