Thank you Vince, for your comments on the website building. I The software are use is created by Universe.com. It is basically designed to create pages in Apple ios - which suits my working on the iPad. It’s a bit like building with children’s blocks and des have some limitations.
But so so easy to use and create with and very reasonably priced.
I think that viewing on a larger screen would make the design look large and extra brash. It is so difficult to design for different devices.
Your comments were very very helpful, and I have spent a little bit more time in the past two days, tidying up my layout and converted to scrolling rather than swiping.
“ To scroll or not, to scroll, that is the question. Whether it is nobler in the mind, suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous and conflicting views, or whether to take arms can use the sea of contradictions and by opposing etc etc etc. ……. must give us pause.” (To misquote Bill)
I have so much to add into the site but it is a start. If you or anyone in the group would let me know if the scrolling is working on the Past and Published menu items I would be very grateful.
Mastering a small part of the digital world is challenging rewarding when you feel some success. I would recommend web site building to any lively with something to show or say.
Interesting topic alongside the publishing book discussion.
Vince, if Luca is interested in geology he might like to view the Maar volcanic crater (about a mile across).I live on the rim.
